The firm
was founded in 1949 by C.J. McKee, and was reorganized in 1973 under the
name of McKee-Zumwalt & Associates. In 1984, the firm took its present
name of Zumwalt-Hansen & Associates, Inc. Headquarters in Hanford,
the firm serves clients throughout the Central Valley and the state. We
provide civil engineering, surveying and planning services to individuals,
corporations, private land developers, public agencies and other professionals.

Experience
Over
30 years of experience in civil engineering and land surveying.
Mr. Zumwalt was employed by Kings County Public Works Department from
1962 to 1973. The last 4 years of which in the capacity of Deputy
County Surveyor. In addition to his duties as Deputy County Surveyor,
Mr. Zumwalt also developed the County´s first Solid Waster
Master Plan converting the open dumps to sanitary landfills and
transfer stations. In 1973 until present, Mr. Zumwalt has been
in private practice with the firm of Zumwalt-Hansen & Associates,
Inc. formerly known as McKee-Zumwalt & Associates. Private
practice experience includes a wide variety of civil engineering
and land surveying projects associated with public works infrastructure
and land developement.

years as a survey party chief, 12 years as a n engineering survey

Surveyor. Mr. Hansen has been a Principal in the firm since 1977.
He directs the surveying operations of the firm as well as assisting
in the supervision of the office technical staff.
